Thanks to the support of many donors from the Netherlands and abroad, the Care for Children Foundation has already been able to improve the living conditions of orphaned girls and orphaned boys in the town of Minethouk on Lake Inle in Myanmar. These are still simple circumstances in our Western eyes, but very acceptable by the standards of the country. We would like to continue to improve those conditions and we can only do that with sufficient financial resources. You can support our work in various ways.

One-time donation

It is impossible for us to take or ship materials to Myanmar. But luckily you can buy almost everything in Myanmar for significantly lower prices than in the Netherlands. Thanks to your one-time donation in the form of money, we can buy the necessary materials on site. With this you not only support our orphanages, but also local entrepreneurs. Of course we only buy our materials from private companies and not from companies that are owned by the government.

Child sponsorship

To support the girls orphanage and boys orphanage, you can sponsor a child. This concerns healthy food, clothing and school supplies. The money will of course benefit the entire group. Monthly sponsorship is possible for 10, 20 or 30 euros per month. If you like, we can connect you to a specific child in our living groups.

If you would like to sponsor a specific child, you will receive a welcome letter containing the (contact) details and photo of your sponsored child. You can then maintain personal contact with your sponsor child by e-mail. It is also possible to give a small present for your sponsor child when one of the board members or volunteers visits the project. If you would like to visit your sponsored child in Myanmar in the future, we would be happy to help you with that. It will truly be an unforgettable experience for you and your child.

How the sponsor money is spent & Bank details

The Care for Children Foundation guarantees that 100% of your money will be spent locally. You can transfer your one-off or regular donation, as well as your monthly child sponsorship contribution, to Rabo account NL64 RABO 0383 5730 84 of the Care for Children Foundation, in Berlicum in The Netherlands. The BIC code of the Rabobank in Diemen in the Netherlands is RABONL2U. You can also easily and directly transfer money to us via Paypal.

ANBI

The Care for Children Foundation is ANBI registered. ANBI is the official hallmark for Public Benefit Institutions. This means that you can partially get donations and gifts back from the tax authorities. How much you get back depends on how much you donate to charities each year and on the level of your income.
